Destroyed Mattress & Carpet — Complete Radio Silence Booked carpet and mattress cleaning through Handy Cleaners / PROCARPET CARE LTD and it was an absolute nightmare. The guy who turned up completely soaked both the mattress and the carpets. He poured so much water into the mattress that I couldn’t even sleep on it and had to sleep on the floor the first night. Now the mattress is covered in brown water stains/discolouration all over the top and sides, and days later the carpet is still damp and smells like mildew. On top of that, he was completely rude and abusive to my assistant while at the flat. I’ve tried messaging the company multiple times with photos of the damage and they are completely ignoring me. Total lack of basic care or customer service. Avoid them at all costs—currently having to take legal action under the Consumer Rights Act to get compensation for the damage caused. I have sent multiple messages with photo evidence requesting a resolution and have been completely ignored. Avoid this company at all costs—currently initiating legal action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

AVOID - Carpets still dirty despite 'cleaning' them! I paid them to clean the carpets in my 1 bedroom flat in March. They arrived 4 hours late and only spent 10 minutes cleaning the carpets (I was not present while they were there). When I inspected the flat later on, the carpet was just as dirty as before they were in. I tried complaining by email and phone and spoke to Kristine Blake, who was absolutely no help at all, despite sending them photo's of the dirty carpets. I had to pay a different company to do reclean the carpets. Handy Cleaners now are not responding to my emails, asking for a refund. They are completely incompetent, unprofessional and THIEVES!!!!!
