The countdown to Christmas has started and there’s plenty to see and do for all age groups in Thornbury in the run up to the big day itself. Check out some of our featured events below.
A taste of Broadway in the Caedmon Complex
Broadway Live - smash hit songs from Chicago, Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys, and more Broadway classics will be performed in the Thornbury Arts Centre on 10th December, at 8pm, in this acclaimed show by Inspire Production. The shows will help to raise money for Thornbury Carnival and Inspire’s Bristol Academy of Live Performing Arts' bursary fund. If New York’s out of the question, this is the next best thing – and it’s local. The show will also feature some Christmas favourites to get everyone in the mood!
Dance the night away at Eastwood Park
Festive food and drink, and the chance to dance your way through the decades to some great music, is the theme of a special party night being held at Eastwood Park over three nights in December, on the 5th, 11th and 19th. Christmas concert
Armstrong Hall on 12th December, at 7.30pm is the place to be for this year’s St Peter’s Hospice Christmas concert, featuring the Great Western Chorus. Tickets cost £10, and all are welcome to attend, bring your own nibbles, bar available.
Christmas quiz night

Nativity Service
A nativity service is being held in the United Reform Church on Sunday 20th December at 11am. All welcome. See www.thornburyurc.org for more information.
Carvery lunch
