Martyns Fencing

Martyn is that rare creature: a workman that arrives on time, keeps in good contact throughout the planning stages, does exactly what is asked and advises without pushing products - in other words, totally reliable and a genuine pleasure to deal with. He and his colleague worked hard and long on a winters day (where it was 0 degrees outside), to fit a complete new fence system for me.They were incredibly industrious & very courteous throughout. I am pleased as punch with the results - the old wooden posts now replaced with rock solid concrete ones (I'd advise anyone to get them fitted if they have wet clay soil, it prevents the relatively regular rotting that goes on with wooden posts). The new wooden fence panels were handmade by Martyn and you can see the high quality. Martyn and the colleague even stayed behind after they had cleaned up, it was getting almost too dark to see, to help me out by unbolting and adjusting a wooden pergola that was sinking into the ground. I would highly recommend his services and products.

Martyn and his team removed a dilapidated 35m long close boarded fence mounted on wooden posts and replaced it with his own close boarded panels fitted between concrete posts and on concrete gravel boards. Despite some problems due to uneven ground and the proximity of a neighbouring shed, the work was carried out rapidly and efficiently achieving a first-class result. All debris was removed and the site left clean and tidy and the job invoiced as quoted. It was very gratifying to deal with a firm offering a degree of friendly and professional competence rarely encountered these days, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Martyn to anyone needing fencing work.

I can't recommend Martyn highly enough. My wife and I are so impressed with the new fences and unlike a lot of the trades we have dealt with recently Martyn does everything he says he will when he says he will do it. Unfortunately that quality is becoming more and more rare! I would happily recommend Martyns Fencing to any of my friends or family.

We had a fence installed by Martyn in October last year. We were so pleased with it that we asked him to install a matching fence on the other side of the garden which he has just completed. I would certainly recommend him and his hard working team to my family and friends.
